Founded in 2013, The American KuneKune Pig Society is the first KuneKune Registry structured as a nonprofit, member driven organization serving both the USA and Canada.
The American KuneKune Pig Society promotes the KuneKune as a multi-purpose, grazing, heritage breed of swine and recognizes all of its many purposes.
The primary focus of the AKKPS is to provide the AKKPS Membership with a foolproof KuneKune Registry service and to offer a plethora of educational information to the AKKPS Membership as well as the public.
The KuneKune Pig, originally from New Zealand, is a medium breed of swine that is easy on the land and very docile. It is not a Mini/Micro Pig.
