    AKKPS BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS

    2026/2027 TERM

    ***APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED***


    THE AKKPS BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS A TRUE WORKING BOARD.

    • Each BOD Member is expected and required to work to serve the AKKPS Membership on an ongoing basis volunteering up to 5 hours per week during each term
    • The following are the open seats on the AKKPS Board of Directors for the 2026/2027 Term.
      • 4 USA Voting Seats
    • The 4 Board Members (Caroline Malott, Amanda Carlisle, Paula Toney & Brenda Eldridge) whose term ends 12/31/25 may rerun for another term if they so choose.
    • The 8 AKKPS Board of Directors has 7 Voting Members (6 US & 1 Canadian) and 1 Non Voting US Alternate Member that serve the Members of the AKKPS with staggered 2 year terms.

    Applications will be accepted 10/1/25 - 10/31/25

    Registration Competancy Test for qualified applicants conducted 11/1/25 - 11/10/25

    Member Vote on qualified candidates 11/15/25 - 11/30/25

    New BOD Member announced in the December Eblast on 12/15/25

    OCTOBER 2025 AKKPS MEMBERS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

    VOLUNTEER WEBINAR COORDINATORS


    • The AKKPS Hosts a minimum of 4 webinars / informational videos a year for AKKPS Members.

    • Some of the webinars are informational and pre recorded for viewing while others are live via ZOOM with a q & a session.  The live webinars are also recorded for viewing at leisure.
    • AKKPS budgets $3000 annually for webinars.  The money is used for the professional speakers and professional videographers should the webinar require these services.  There is no financial compensation to the AKKPS Volunteers or AKKPS Members who coordinate the webinars or offer their expertise.
    • More information on the webinar topics for 2026 coming in the AKKPS Year End Eblast.

    Thank you AKKPS Member Tracy Crist of Hopewell Heritage Farm for the recipe.


    2 lbs ground pork
    1 onion, chopped
    1 pack of mushrooms, sliced
    4 garlic cloves, chopped
    2-3 heaping serving spoons Greek yogurt
    1/2- 3/4 bar of cream cheese
    1/2 c broth, milk, cream or water
    Egg noodles

     

    Brown pork, salt and pepper and several dashes of Worcestershire.

    Add onions, garlic, mushrooms and sauté with meat until softened.

    Add liquids, yogurt, cream cheese and mix until cheese is melted.
    Let simmer until sauce thickens.

    If too thick add more liquid or a bit of pasta water.

    Season to taste. I add more salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley
