AKKPS BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS
2026/2027 TERM
THE AKKPS BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS A TRUE WORKING BOARD.
- Each BOD Member is expected and required to work to serve the AKKPS Membership on an ongoing basis volunteering up to 5 hours per week during each term
- The following are the open seats on the AKKPS Board of Directors for the 2026/2027 Term.
- 4 USA Voting Seats
- The 4 Board Members (Caroline Malott, Amanda Carlisle, Paula Toney & Brenda Eldridge) whose term ends 12/31/25 may rerun for another term if they so choose.
- The 8 AKKPS Board of Directors has 7 Voting Members (6 US & 1 Canadian) and 1 Non Voting US Alternate Member that serve the Members of the AKKPS with staggered 2 year terms.
Applications will be accepted 10/1/25 - 10/31/25
Registration Competancy Test for qualified applicants conducted 11/1/25 - 11/10/25
Member Vote on qualified candidates 11/15/25 - 11/30/25
New BOD Member announced in the December Eblast on 12/15/25

KIELBASA & RICE

INGREDIENTS
- Sweet Onion(s) cut into medium sized slivers
- Kielbasa cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- Green Pepper (optional)
- Zucchini (optional)
- White Rice
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
RECIPE
- In a large saute pan add olive oil
- Add Onions & Kielbase and any other optional items
- Season to taste with Salt & Pepper
- Cook until Onions are soft & Kielbase is cooked
- Make white rice
- Put sauted items over rice
